There is a new act being voted on in the EU Parliment in June of this year. This is called ACTA (The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement). This act has already been passed in many counties all over the world and now it is up to the 27 member states of the EU Parliment to vote yes or no to the act. This act if implamented will create an international legal framework where ISPs (Internet Service Providers, SKY, Virgin etc) are told to watch all of your internet activity. Your ISP for your home will know every website you have been on and if you go on such sites as VUZE, Filesonic etc (file sharing websites or any other site that shares ilegal material) you could be sued by the copyright owner and sent to court. Also the first drafts of the bill were nagotiated in secret by 39 different countries. There is already a lot of opposition to this act in the EU Parliment as I have found out from sending emails to my EU representitives. But we here in the UK and NI need to contact our MEPs n the EU parliment of protest to stop it at least being implamented in the UK. Thank you.
