The Loop

Education VS Business Start Up: Peter Theil (Co-Creator of PayPal) has selected 20 young people under 20, to forgo their university place and instead travel to America for two years in an attempt to set up a Business.

He offers $100,000 (£67,000) over the two years as long as the young people involved do not engage in any formal education.  The teenagers get a lot of help from other big name business people within Silicon Valley, home to Google, Facebook and Yahoo.

Peter Theil, has famously criticised university education in the past, saying it is a waste of time and money for some students.
