thinker dude The brilliance of WIMPS as a concept and tool has been recognised again - this time in the shortlist for the ICT Excellence Awards 2008. These prestigious Irish awards pull together the leading ICT projects from across the island. WIMPS was nominated under the 'Best Use of Technology in Education and Training' category - and the nomination recognises both Public Achievement for the concept and Biznet IIS for the design of the site.

The Awards will be announced in Dublin on the evening of 1 May - so keep your fingers crossed!

This follows on the heels of the fantastic news that WIMPS is a finalist in this year's global 'Stockholm Challenge' Awards under their education category - so it has been a great couple of months for us.
