BBC Two is embarking on a brand new and exciting competition to unearth Britain's Best Young Speaker.

In this epic elimination show, thousands of 14-18 year olds will compete on a series of challenges that will test all their communications skills. They'll need passion, personality and confidence to succeed. If you think you've got what it takes to make the nation sit up and listen then get involved.

We'll be here on Tuesday 1st July 3pm -6pm,  Wednesday 2nd July 10am -6pm &  Thursday 3rd July 9.30am - 1pm  

In advance of this we will ask that those interested prepare a one minute speech on ANY subject of their choosing - it could be anything from Beyonce to Bullying or Economics to EastEnders. We will film this speech on the day and if they are happy with it then we will then enter them into the programme.

Age limit: you must be 14 by 1 May 2008 and no older than 18 on 30 April 2009.
