WIMPS Belfast Visits MLAs at Stormont
Friday 23 November 07
Early in November the WIMPS Belfast group went up to Stormont to meet up with MLAs and ask them some questions about what their parties are all about and their views on different issues.
The group first got a short intorduction to the story of the Assembly, what parties are represented and how it works.
Then the MLAs started appearing; the first one they talked to was Sean Oliver, representing Sinn Fein.

Then they met up with Carmel Hanna MLA, representing SDLP
Kieran McCarthy MLA - Alliance Party

Brian Wilson MLA - Green Party

John MaCallister MLA - UUP

All the MLAs took their time and answered the groups questions. It was a very interesting cupple of hours for the WIMPS Belfast group which truly appreciate the MLAs effort to meet up with them!
