Public Folder Network for Youth
So what do you think about the idea of a Network for Youth across Northern Ireland? Would you get involved? It is a good way of getting the views of young people across to policy makers? Have you been involved in a Shadow Youth Council or some other structure? Tell us what you think

Public Folder Youth Assembly?
So as you can see in our issues section, Chris Madden from Carrickfergus is campaigning for a Youth Assembly for Northern Ireland. He's been getting positive feedback from across the 'adult' Assembly, but no solid action as yet. What do you think? Could young people add something to the mix? Do young people have perspectives that are missing from the debate? Or maybe you think politics is a waste of time? We would love to hear your views on this one.

Public Folder Sectarianism - avoiding the elephant in the room?
Okay, so the 'Chuckle Brothers' in the First Ministers Office are getting on like a house on fire, but is the Executive avoiding the issue of sectarianism? They buried the report on the enormous cost of division - can they really make the economy work when many people won't travel to work in areas outside their comfort zones?

Public Folder £52,000 salary to MLAs?
An independent review of assembly members' pay is expected to recommend an increase of about 16% to about £52,000. Assembly members currently earn about £43,000 a year. The Senior Salaries Review Body will suggest that the rise is necessary to bring Stormont MLAs into line with their GB counterparts. MPs earn more than £60,000, members of the Scottish parliament £53,000 and Welsh assembly members £46,500.
