Did anyone else see the interview with CaitrĂona Ruane, Minister for Education? She has been under criticism recently for the strike of class room assistants, but credit were credit is due - that was a really good interview. It tackled issues that ministers/people in general, usually don't like to talk about. I liked the way C. Ruane linked the first question about Homophobia into the second one about suicide rates.

The interviewer (Grainne Jones) was really good, she knew about recent events (the Presbyterian Assembly - sometimes not known as one of the most 'tolerant' churches) and asked good questions. Well done

I think that has been my favourite hot seat interview so far.

Hi Edward - her attitudes contrast somewhat with the comments of 'First Lady' Iris Robinson I find it quite scary when politicians start quoting (their version of) 'The Word of God'. I wonder what your reaction is to her recent outbursts?
