Building the world we want

On our own, it is hard to get people to listen.  Together, we can change the world.  We have energy, fresh ideas and passion. There are also loads of us – over 238,000 teenagers in Northern Ireland. If we combine our voices and work together, we can make our lives better through projects like these.

There are two types of campaign on wimps.org.uk - our own such as Votes at 16 and End Punishment Attacks - and campaigns started by young people who have joined the site.

Before you start a campaign, the first thing you should do is read this advice. It gives you really good advice on what campaigning is. If you do post something here that is not really a campaign, we will write to you and give you some advice. During that time we will suspend your campaign until we are all clear about what you are trying to achieve.

Also it's a good idea talk to other people and think about what you want to achieve. Maybe you just have an idea - why not post that in The Loop and get some discussion and support before you start.

Good luck!

Have a problem you could fix with extra hands or crowd support?

Or get ideas or advice first
